Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Driving across america

    hi all,

    my friends and I are considering driving across america this summer, and spending about a month. just wondering if anyones ever done this or has any advice or general info

    That's a very general question.

    Where are you starting/finishing ?

    How do you plan on getting a car ?

    What do you want to see ?

    me and my mates did last month

    well, we started in vegas.. drove all thru nevada, reno, sacremento, san jose, san francisco
    stopped off at burnin man festival for a week in the desert too


    did over well 1500 miles anyway, took ages.. so was only a tiny section on the map, was deadly tho

    rented an RV and stayed in some hotels too, we are all 23 years old

    I did 1400 in under a week driving up and down the coast of calafornia, I reckon your best bet would be to hire a camper van and arrange that you can drop it off on the west coast, so start in new york or something, and just travel through the places you actually want to see, one bit of advice tho is try and have a few different drivers in your group otherwise you'll never get to drink and you won't enjoy the journey as much
