Let me expand on this.

The challenge with beers is finding somewhere that

a) is good

b) will be empty enough to sustain a sustained onslaught of boardsies
while part a) generally ensures said pub would be busy.

c) I don't currently have the time to book a place or engage in the level of work I used to put into our beers, and we can't do them at such short notice as we do now if we want to go down that route.

Upstairs in Dorans or Upstairs in TP Smyths are both pretty good for beers.

Upstairs in the bull and castle is bloody decent, especially if you can grab a few of the benches. Tasty beers too and I do believe they do steins of beer

I think it's best that a poll is erected giving people a choice of where to go. My preference is ED, but this thing isn't going to revolve around me.:)

5th of June is fine by me, whether that suits everyone else I have no idea.:pac:
