Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i can't get through to social welfare to ask the question so i'll see if you folks might know?

i applied for the dole about 2.5 weeks ago,i was told i need a letter from my uni stating when i attended. I contacted my uni in wales but despite hassling them the letter has not arrived yet. If i go in and explain it to the social welfare will they allow me to backdate the social welfare from my first application

Well it depends on the time frame the Welfare Office gave you in which to provide the letter from you old college. If they told you to get it to them within say 7 days, and you didn't let them know that you were experiencing difficulties in getting that letter, well then it's very likely they won't backdate your claim. But if they were aware of the delay, well then there would be no reason for them not to backdate.

If you can't contact your office by phone, maybe go down in person and explain. Any further delays on your part (I know it's not your fault), will unfortunately hold up your claim that much longer.
