    anyone know how to turn on the de-mister on for the back windscreen on an opel astra 98d. have no manual for the car so cant look there

    It is a button below the heater controls and above the ashtray.

    EDIT See Here Its the button on the right, below the fan speed knob.

    Failing this the fan knob clicks out on some models (certainly previous ones)
