Advice on New Monitor

I know this has been talked about before but I'd like to ask a couple of specific questions if I could.

I'm currently 6 tabling on i-poker on a crappy 17" screen and there is some overlap, which I am ok with as I find it helpful that the table pops up when it's your turn.

I'm looking to move up to 9 and then eventually 12 tables and am wondering if you can get a monitor that will fit that amont of i-poker tables with the same overlap that I currently have?

Below is a pic of the way I play 6 tables so what I'd want is a monitor that could take 4 colums of 3 tables instead of the 2 colums of 3 that I know have.

Is this possible due to the size of the i-poker tables and if so what size / resolution monitor would I need?

    Cheers

    B

I also use a 17" laptop screen for 6 tabling on ipoker.

Is it possible to use one of the above mentioned screens by just connecting it to the laptop?

Ya you can just connect one of those screens using a VGA(analog) or DVI (digital) cable to most laptops no problem.

how many normal view screens can you fit on a 1200x1900 with i-poker? Is there any monitor that will take more than 4 in normal view without too much overlap?

with 4 on a 1920x1200 screen you get a tiny bit of vertical overlap but plenty of space horizontally. you can fit 6 with a small bit of horizontal overlap.

I picked up an acer 22" widescreen for 170euro in Dublin. Pretty good value. Its 1600x1200 resolution and is working out pretty nice. I don's usually play more that 10 tables at once though. I'd say a 24" is more suitable for this.
