Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison Call it Quits

Even Hugh Hefner can suffer from a broken heart.
The Playboy mogul has confirmed rumors that he and Girl Next Door Holly Madison are splitting up. "If she says it's over, it's over," Hefner told E!. "But like I've said before, she is the love of my life, and I expected to spend the rest of my life with her."
Hefner, 82, said that the beginning of the end came six months ago, when he learned that he could no longer father a child, thanks to low sperm count. "She'd like to be married and have children, but it's not in the cards here for me," he said. (Insert collective "Awww!").
While there are two more ladies left in Hef's life — Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt — the romantic relations continue, but it seems his heart was set on Madison.
Of course, don't cry for Hef for too long. Being the world's most famous ladies' man has its perks: Last week, he was seen with 19-year-old twins in tow, plus there's also a college senior from Georgia already testing the girlfriend waters.
The plethora of appealing options is not lost on Hefner. "I'm dancing as fast as I can," he laughed. The loss of true love, though, is a heavy burden — even at the Playboy mansion.

As if any of them were really in love with him....I actually feel sorry for him. Now that he's in his old age I don't think he'll ever find anyone that will truly love him and aren't just in it for the money and the fame.

Thats a shame, that show was really fun to watch.

I think they will all have a good start going it alone, but honestly the only person of those three who are not going to be a complete flash in the pan in my mind will be Holly. She seems to have the mind to do some behind the seens work on something truly probably great in the future.

Kendra will probably just have some lame MTV specials or something for a short period before she just gets forgotten about.

Hugh Hefner's Girls Next Door are dropping like flies.

A month after confirming his split with Holly Madison, the Hef has announced ex Kendra Wilkinson is engaged to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett.

"Kendra Wilkinson has met someone who she would like to spend the rest of her life with," Hefner told Us Weekly. "He popped the question last Saturday. I have given her my blessing and will be giving her away at a very special wedding ceremony at the Playboy Mansion this coming June."

The news comes two months after Wilkinson denied reports Baskett had popped the question.

She's not the only former flame rebounding quickly from a Hef split. Madison's already been hooking up with magic man Criss Angel. That just leaves Bridget Marquardt as the last singleton.

Hef himself is recovering nicely as well. He's currently dating 19-year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon, so it looks like he'll need a plus-two to the nuptials...that is if they're still together in June.
