Where to buy a tagine?

    Does anyone know where I can get a tagine, either in Dublin or on the Internet? I cooked a Moroccan Lamb thingy in a saucepan last night and it just wasn't the same. Perhaps it'll be good justification for a trip to Morocco....

    Do some research into the brand you want. There are decorative tagines that are only for serving, and ones that can be used with a heat source. Of the all-clay variety, I'd say Emile Henry is the way to go. Of the metal and clay variety, le creuset do tagines, and I'm sure some of the other cast iron cookware companies make them. Personally I'm hanging out for the All Clad rolls royce version, but I don't blame anyone else for not wanting to spend that sort of money on occasional cookware. :)

    Also check the size of the tagine - are you cooking enough for two, four, six or eight people?
