Palm Treo 500v (Windows Mobile 6) Vodafone handset, but O2 sim.

Everything is working fine (can make/receive calls, can send/receive texts) - but voicemail notification isn't working. Voicemail is working fine, but the automatic SMS message to indicate that there is a voicemail never arrives.

The only thing unusual in the settings is that the Phone Number is "unavailable" in the phone options (which isn't selectable/changeable). The phone number is set on the Owner Information screen.

Any ideas?

Its a SIM problem. SIM Card is probably too old to talk to phone. This link should do the trick and will advise on how to update the SIM accordingly.
