Loading Gmail on Phone

Trying to load Gmail onto Nokia 6500 slide Went to m.google.com/mail and downloaded it but when I run it I get the below java.lang.illegal stateexception Cause Unknown anyone know what this is and how I can fix it or is it to do with Install

Try this version. There seems to be an issue with the latest version on Nokia 6500 slide

yep that worked down as google mail rather than gmail

Seems to be a problem with this for other users

Google mail and gmail are exactly the same thing, except due to someone else owning the domains in the UK and Germany first Google cannot use the gmail name there. Probably just and indication as to which Google office came up with that version of the application.
