NTL and UBR

Do NTL just use one large UBR or are they segmented like the UK (really talking about Dublin here)

Its segmented alright, not as straight forward to tell as in UK, I would have a tendency to believe its divided northside and southside.

Ye but there not very clear.

Open CMD amd type

tracert www.google.ie

or any website for that matter.

The 2nd hop is your UBR, on UPC it will be in the form of

XXXXXXXXX.ntlworld.ie

Mostly Cisco 7246 and 10k's i believe... This can be found out easily with a sniffer !!:D
