GOW2 Prices etc..

Anyone seen any prices for GOW2 around.. mainly pre order?

Looking to get the ltd edt.. Wonder if there'll be midnight opening for it ala Halo etc..

CDWow would be really slow. I don't think Smyths would cost much more than that, and you'd get it Day 1.

If you can wait it will more than likely be region free and you could get an english asian version for about 35 euro on playasia.com

I'm pretty sure the Smyths price is wrong unfortunately, but Smyths do usually have the best prices from the stores around town. Plus, if you have a loyalty card and buy in the release week, you get an extra 10% off.

Not the limited edition version but its an irish company so you are pretty much gaurenteed to get it on release day.

Only one way to find out. Go in to smyths and ask. If its only 50, pre book it so that you will get it at that price.

Might try Smyths... Gotta get it on release day. I'll only have fri to mon to play it, then its back to college work ;-(

I'm not sure Smyths take deposits though - I've pre-ordered a lot of games from them whenever I want them on release day and they never ask for a deposit, neither am I sure they would take one. Without money down, you'd have no reprieve if a price was misquoted on the website. Still I'd most definitely recommend Smyths anyway if you're not going to buy online.

I asked about pre-ordering this weekend. Unable to guarantee that they'd get the limited edition ones in? Might put a deposit down anyway, got one of those loyalty cards in preparation.
