Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Imo the top 4 will remain the same, the title will go to chelsea but that liverpool will at last be up there with chelsea and man u come the run in. Arsenal I still cant make any judgements on, just never know when they might just 'click' and go on a run of 10 straight wins.

My opinions have not changed hugely. I think Chelsea are being more impressive, somewhat, than I expected them to be. Arsenal having not added another midfielder are worse than I expected them to be [cause I thought they'd get one]

United have had a slow start, but I think it'll go down to the wire with Utd and Chelsea for the league. In the cups, I think Chelsea will do worse than in previous years.

i backed villa for 8-10th originally, but that was before the signing splurge

i reckon 5-6 realistically, 4th if someone makes a balls of things

Pretty much the same myself. Certainly with the top 4.

Of teams contending for Europe, Spur's surprising me somewhat. Am not very surprised by Everton dropping off a bit. Villa impressing a bit more than I expected but not by much.

    1. Chelsea
    2. United
    3. Liverpool

Im not sure about 4th and 5th. Arsenal should be able to secure fourth but there's a very good chance Villa could edge us out this year. As much as it pains me to say it...

As a Villa fan, I am totally biased, but I really fancy 4th place for us this season - already a big gap back to the rest, so I think it's a two way scrap. Arsenal look like they have real difficulties and Martin O Neill will be letting the players know that there is a very attainable goal in sight. The Villa squad to me looks stronger than ever, with some very capable stand ins available for all first teamers ( Harewood aside ) and with the likes of Cuellar and Sidwell about to really settle, I am daring to dream.

    Ok My two cents.

    1.Man Utd
2.Chelsea (Down to the wire, Chelsea 2nd last game against Arsenal may be the differance )
3.Liverpool (Good season, but about 5/7 points back IMO)
4.Aston Villa ( Well if any team can make the break through? )
    5.Arsenal
    6.Everton
    7.Man City
    8.Portsmouth
    9.Blackburn
10.Hull ( Yes top 10 finish well within this gutsy teams scope IMO )
    11.Middlesbrough
    12.Tottenham
    13.Sunderland
    14.West Ham
    15.Wigan
    16.Newcastle
17.Bolton ( just about make it , last day escape even )
    18. Stoke
    19.Westbrom
    20.Fulham
