Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,

replaced a HDD in machine which originally came with Vista. No discs available ( recovery partition on original drive ). Can I borrow a copy of Vista and reinstall using the key on the base of the laptop?

Also, I have read that all vista versions come on any vista disc. Is this true ? Apologies in advance if this is a repeat question.

yeah, you can borrow a copy of vista and reinstall using your product key. I thought HP were back shipping install disks, maybe still using the recovery partition as a single solution, which screws over the likes of you when the **** hits the fan. You can probably request replacement disks from HP but will probably be charged, or have to prove ownership blah blah blah, i'd just reinstall using a borrowed disk. less hassle

If its like XP you will need another OEM disk - a retail one won't accept OEM product keys, and vice versa.
