    hey just wondering if anyone knows if sunday league amatuer football is played in melbourne? i am keen to get a game of football on a regular basis, or if anyone has a team and needs an extra player

    Yep every state has an amateur league. I play in the top division in Western Australia and the standard is very good. There are a number of divisions though for all abilities and there's also social football for those that just fancy a casual kick about on a Sunday morning.

    I'm sure the league has an official site if you google it.
