Am planning on dressing up as the fantastic Dr. Horrible for halloween... Time is growing short on costume getting, and I think it's too late for online, so I need some advice before I head to town for a day of cycling and searching for items. This may also serve as help to anyone thinking of dressing as this guy, if you're based in Dublin.

so... so far, for the Howie coat; I'm going to try the Trinity SU shop, and a medical supply shop on Angier street. But I'm not 100% sure I'll get that style of coat there, so if anybody knows better, I'd be very grateful?

for the logo; I've no ideas. Currently thinking I'll have to just print it off and glue it to the coat, but if anybody knows where one might find a decent selection of patches or pins, I could check that out.

for the goggles I was thinking to browse the hardware stores around Talbot Street and/or Capel Street, the same also goes for the gloves, though I might also try sports shops or something like that for fencing gloves? Anyone have any ideas on that?

And for the boots.. yeah, no idea. White wellies, size 9 or 10, anyone? :D

I'd be fairly surprised if the Medical Supply shop didn't have the howie coat to be honest.

The hardest part of this is going to be the goggles I think, seems like a very specific type and might be pretty expensive. You'll have to go to a places specialising in welding maybe ? Maybe try some Plant Hire places first though ?

Gloves look like standard welding gloves ? You'll get those in the same place as the goggles most likely.

Boots ... May prove difficult. The best suggestion I can think of is buy a pair of standard wellies a can of good spraypaint and give them a few coats. Problem is wit hthe material of the wellies it may not last too long, and start flaking off.
