    Hi,

We have to get a bigger carseat for our baby and we're interested in picking up a good value deal. Online or bricks and mortar shop.

We're looking for a forward facing car seat for a 01 Almera, it should suit a baby 9 months old and do her until she's 4 years old.

Any suggestions on good value car seats greatly appreciated.

When we got one (2 years ago!) we got it in Mothercare in Newry, there was a massive differance in the price compared to Mothercare down here (€135 vs. €225 or there abouts!) so well worth the trip. That was a Britax with all the bells and whistles. For our 2nd. we got a basic Britax seat in Halfords Liffey valley that does just the same job for about €79 which was the best value I could find at the time.

Tesco sometimes have good value aswell but it can be very hit and miss as to what's available and at what price.

    Thanks Domore,

That Britax looks like a good buy - thanks very much for taking the time to reply.
