Harbour building open to the public this weekend

    Open House Week

    As part of the Open House week in Dublin this weekend some of the building around Dun Laoghaire and in the harbour in particular are open to the public this weekend.

    The battery at the end of the east pier and Irish Lights commission sound like the most interesting ones.

    (The website is terrible by the way, alternatively try The harbour website)

    Was down there yesterday but didn't go in as it was too nice outside.

    Can't believe there was a chugger (charity mugger) at the very very end of the east pier waiting to pounce on passersby.
