I can't trust Trojan as US Election 2008 mod. I have read about him and he's not, he's not uh — he's a Democrat.

Don't worry, they asked me once, I declined.

I recall doing that test once before, but I could have sworn I came out a little bit to the left of this. Still, compared to the politicians on the chart a few posts earlier, it confirms my view that I'm pretty middle-of-the-road.
    pcgraphpng.php?ec=2.38&soc=-1.64

Some of those questions I didn't really want to answer. More of a 'none-of-the-above' or 'just what context do you mean?' deal.

    NTM

you gotta think about them. I apply each to a random scenario. for example I strongly disagree that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Just because Country B hates country C doesnt mean countries B and C wouldn't love to nuke A.

Well according to that site I'm here:

    http://www.politicalcompass.org/printablegraph?ec=-5.75&soc=-4.41

Which really, really doesn't represent how I vote.

Our race has many superior qualities, compared with other races.

    Umm...
Are we comparing ourselves with Martians or Chimpanzees?
The rich are too highly taxed.

What if you think that everyone is too highly taxed?
It is a waste of time to try to rehabilitate some criminals

Are they talking about the Death Penalty, or non-confinement rehabilitation programs?

    NTM

I took it as referring to social rehabilitation programs.

Oh great... now in addition to Trojan being "disappointed" in me, he can also ban me as well. I’m sure I’ll be giving you some headaches in your new role as a member of the Liberal Mod Squad!

Hey, any chance of you moving higher up the evolutionary scale into the upper right hand section of the political blue square?

    Seriously though… Congratulations!

So when this election is over, will the new US Politics sub forum be "Four More Years Of Dubya" if McCain wins, and "OMG, What Have We Done" if Obama wins?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

Probably entitled "well it couldn't be any worse than the last guy" if Obama wins and if McCain gets in "Well it couldn't be any worse...oh **** they just bombed Iran".

    1. Blacks, Caucasians, Hispanics?

    2. Rephrase: "Are the rich too highly taxed in proportion to the poor"

    3. Some people just dont want to, or cant be helped within reasonable means. I think they're referring to in-house rehabilitation, like prison schools and libraries, as well. Either way do you agree or disagree that some people just cant be helped besides rotting away in a cell or being executed.

Well actually I could already ban you, this just legitimises it. Kinda like the PATRIOT Act[1] ;)

Hmmmm, so you're comparing youself a bit to George W Bush... see, there is hope for you after all.

I'm sure that despite Trojan's leanings that there won't be any liberal bias in the forum.

You don't get to be an smod without having great judg....... actually, I can't finish that with a straight face :)

    ;)

Definitely. Good ol' George and I, we're real similar. Two arms, two legs, and each have a head. Not so sure about the grey matter actually, but that's close enough.

Evolution?! What's this blasphemy? They can take that hippy elite liberal science and mumbo-jumbo and... doggonit.

There's no party to represent that perspective, you'll have to pick the closest actual party ;)

Interestingly, I used to be closer to that about 4 years ago (at least, according to their questionnaire): http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin//showpost.php?p=2148727&postcount=73

Hmmm. Well, to answer in seriousness, I try to remain as unbiased as possible. However, as fair warning, I have a real problem with stupidity:
