    Have you considered the possibility of a Protection or Barring Order, they are easier to obtain.

    Probably cost less anyway as they are issued by District Court where as (I am subject to Correction) a restraining order would have to be issued by Circuit Court.

    You don't give a lot of info, and you're probably right.

    This depends on your relationship to the "respondant" you want a restraining order against.
    If you are referring to a family member or partner, you're probably looking for a safety, protection or barring order. These are dealt with in family law and there are several avenues for help. You will be dealt with in strict confidence and sympathetically.

    An injunction is a civil matter you should refer to a solicitor about. This is a lengthy process, though.

    There are loads of sites online to advise you about these.
