    Hi all,

Phoenix FM, Dublin 15's own community radio station is always looking for new volunteers.

Experience/knowledge are not necessary at all as full training will be provided by FETAC qualified instructors.

If you have any interest in or ideas for the station, reply to this thread or by PM.

    Thanks!

    Anything! Sorry, should've said.

We need presenters, tech ops, producers, researchers and admin volunteers. Anyone who feels they have a couple of hours to spare in the week is more than welcome. We can try slot people into times and days that suit.

Any chance of a bit of background to the station? For instance, is it a commercial or voluntary organisation? Is advertising accepted? Are minority groups catered for, both in the station and its programming? i've no problem with leaving your thread open if it's an entirely voluntary station, but there may be difficulties with the Admins if it's a commercial venture.

    Thanks

    It's voluntary community radio.

Sorry guys, should've been a bit more informative!

It is a totally volunteer based station, with one admin staffer paid by Blanchardstown 2001.

We broadcast 7.30pm-11pm Monday to Friday, and 3pm-11pm Saturday and Sunday.

Shows will ideally be niche shows, catering for specific areas of Dublin 15. Advertising is accepted, and a rate card can be produced.

If you have anything you would like mentioned on the station, you can contact us on 8227222 or info@phoenixfm.ie
