    There are some sick individuals out there.

    I've read your blog a few times and grimace at some of the extremes you go to. Fair play to you. I've done one marathon and that is more than enough for me - never again!

    Training like this must really help your poker though, I find that when I'm training optimally (hasnt happened in a long, long time:o) my poker improves, I'm more alert, less prone to tiredness etc.

    Best of luck with the run!

    Run Dara, RUN! Stop scaring us with stories of smog, asthma, colds and joint pains :rolleyes: cos we know you CAN go the distance... don't worry about the medal - just run good to the final table like you always do! :D

    Very best of luck. I never knew this form of torture could exist legally in the western world until you came onto the poker scene. I really dont know how you do it. Fair play though,
    Conor

    Thanks Cat, and indeed everyone for their interest and good wishes. Unfortunately it didn't turn out to be one of my better days (or day/night/days to be more accurate) but I'll hold the bad beat story back for my blog.

    Big thank you to Mellor too for finding that pic. Note to self: poker baseball caps don't make good running caps.

    happy to use my 2000th post to say;

    jebus! thats one hell of an achievement, especially as you're almost as ancient as me.
