Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi people..

Thought it was just me but boards is taking a long time to load in IE7

I saw this and realised I wasnt the only one.
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055398823

I downloaded firefox and it opens almost straight away but I'm used to IE7 and would like to continue to use it. (plus I dont like the way FF likes to fill in the address for ya like autofill in the address bar)

I have norton as well as have updated it but it seems to have made no difference

I have 3meg bb and am running XP.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Have you tried doing some maintenance, such as clearing the cache and history, also maybe doing a defrag.

You could also try out the beta version of IE8

Be warned though that it is still in beta stage and so no help will be given by MS.

    Hey,

My IE7 slowed has slowed down a bit too, and it happened straight after I installed some Windows Updates for it. It crashes sometimes too for certain websites. The problem is probably just some 'rogue' code on certain web pages that IE doesn't like.

I still use IE7 a lot. But some sites are very slow in it for some reason. I switch to Safari for those, its really quick on those same sites.
