Have to say I read the title more as a take-off / mockery of the type of language which would be used in gangsta rap, bad American films & tv, or indeed pornos than as in any way indicating the OP's actual attitude to women.

As such I didn't see it as either misogynistic or intended to be offensive.

I regularly see stuff in AH which worries me far more, especially in terms of the xenophobic attitudes of the posters, not because I think sexism is less abhorrent than xenophobia, but because the way such posters express themselves makes it very difficult to believe that they are anything but wholly serious.



(Just to be clear, my last comment is intended not as a criticism of the mods, but of the posters themselves.)

We spent 700 years with the English suppressing us, 80 years with the Catholic Church suppressing us, and now we're fecking suppressing each other.

We spent years battling to legalise contraception, spent years implementing Sexual education into the 5th/6th class curriculum, and a subject for the junior certificate. Now, *research* in relation to sexual education cannot even be posted onto a forum to be discussed.

Can I let you in on a fact people? ....Did you know that eating your snot is good for you? It's disgusting, but it's good for you, and builds up your immune system. Same way that there's dudes reseaching if swallowing sperm is good for you. It's bloody science, and if people want to be humanist or scientologist about it, then I don't think that After Hours or even Boards is the right place for them.

There's a recession coming, our banking system is collapsing, and we're in economic crisis, and people are obsessing about swallowing sperm whether swallowing sperm is a good thing or not.... Yeah ok, but plenty of users get on here as early as Junior Cert for the extra help, and I'm sure plenty-a-teacher/parent has been to the site to either see if it was a good learning aide or any number of reasons. But no, with smutty (humorous or not) thread titles might put someone off the site in a bad way. It was for this reason in particular I went to go edit the title (in futility)
