Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recieved a summons to the district court for tomorrow for a traffic offence, namely non conforming number plates . . . . my name is spelt wrong on the summons and on the back there is nothing filled out i.e. guard signing they sent it be registered post or delivered by hand etc . . . I am not sure if this is supposd to be empty or not. I am just wondering what to say when i go in and will the name thing make a difference?

Details of service are on the original summons which is by now lodged in the district court office with a declaration of service.

Wrong spelling of name may not afford you a defence as judge has wide powers of amendment. However once you appear, unless you can explain it is a qualified appearance the judge may hold that you are validly served.

See a solicitor who appears in that court
