Council working on my land

Im not sure if Im in the right section but here goes (not sure what other section it can go in)
Basically, Im just looking to see what rights I have

I arrived home 3 weeks back to see big tyre tracks up my garden and all over my back garden (the 2 gardens are seperated by a fence and closed gate)
Without any notice, the council have removed my rear fence, which backed onto a laneway, presumably giving me the laneway land, I am now left with a brick wall which is coved with graffiti, I called the day after and they were ment to get back to me, that night I came home and there was a skip blocking my driveway, again without any notice, again a call that I am still waiting on a reply back on, its now 4 calls that Im waiting on

The tyre tracks remain all over my garden and there must be a few tonne of top soil spread over the back half of my lawn.

Did the council have any right to enter my land and take down my fence and if not what comeback do I have

Is it your land, (private land) or is it council land? Who owns the lane? just to clarify a few things

Sounds outrageous, assuming you own the property, unless they have a way leave it's my understanding that they have no right to enter your property in this way.

Get on to your solicitor straight away.

As Do-more said, get to a solicitor. This thread has legalities written all over it and unfortunately we can't allow that.

    Locked.
