I have never claimed tax back and was wondering is there a possibility that i might be due a refund of some amount. Most of the jobs i've worked at in my teens would have been minimum wage (as far as i can remember), but i'm just curious. Is it just a case of ringing the revenue and asking them?

You can only go back four years so you can probably forget about your teens.

Ring the PAYE district on 1890 333 425 and you can request a P21 balancing statment for the years in question.

If you have over-paid this should trigger a refund.

If you have medical expenses get a Med 1 from the revenue website.

If dental- get a med 2 from your dentist.

Local authority services charges? You can claim for these too.

    Hope that helps.
