Nokia 6300 & 4GB Micro SD card

Just got a 4GB Micro SD card for my 6300, but doesn't recognise the card, would this be a firmware issue? If you have a 4GB Micro SD card in your 6300, what is the firmware version of it? My 6300 has v5.00

It only supports up to 2GB witha Micro SD Card.
