    Anyone else from this area suffering problems? The boards webpage seems to be loading fast enough but the problem is preventing me from connecting to Lotro.

    Tracert to boards.ie gives the same result altough the website doesnt seem to have any problems loading.

    Missing the second hop on those results which I'm assuming is a problem(Im far from an expert!)

    Also the IP adress I was checking is the lotro server afaik which is definitly up as I was talking to people on ventrillo who are playing

    I'm in Dundalk, Co. Louth and my speeds on 3MB have dropped and pings are up. Average ping for me to boards.ie was 10 - 15ms, now my average is 140 - 160ms

    Those missing hops at stage 2 is common tonight on eircom isp. I reckon some major router is wonky.

    Yep, something wrong somewhere. I wonder if they are aware of the problem. I tried scouting the eircom.net site for a contact number but came up blank....
