Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Can you upgrade XP Home to Pro using a full/OEM version of PRO? Without having to format the PC?

    Thanks

It's against the terms of the OEM to install it on another PC
you need to BUY a license.

If you have a full retail copy of XP Pro that is not installed on any other PC
    Or
If you have an upgrade copy of XP pro that has not upgraded a copy of OEM windows on another machine
Then you can ask the original question

generally speaking OS upgrades are always a little flaky and the problems may not show up for a long time so it's always recommended to do a clean install, for example I don't know what the story is with upgrading with a lower service pack , so you would probably have to slipstream the install media to the same level as the xp home install or roll back the home to the pro media level

90% of copies of windows XP are non-transferrable OEM copies
most of the rest are corporate licenses or upgrades poisoned by OEM
