I'm getting all confused with petrol prices. Price should come down since barrel price has been dropping steadily the last month or so, but then this new 8c tax on top is "confusing" retailers (and myself it seems).

What should I realistically be paying right now in Dublin? I've seen prices quoted from 1.139 (dont know how true this is) to 1.309.

About 124.9 for unleaded. Diesel is about the same.

Depends where your situated. Texaco in Lucan is at 116.9 for diesel and 118.9 for petrol. Hammertime (the resident station owner) was saying prices should be coming down next week as wholesale prices are going down.

Currently averaging 1.19 - 1.23 in Dundalk just now, so Dublin shouldn't be too far off that mark.
If only the 8c hadn't been added on...

    http://www.pumps.ie/ is a good source.

Isn't there another decrease expected early next week?
