I have quite oily skin on my face especially around the forehead and nose area. Would anyone know of ways to reduce this or to care for this. I sometimes use a face scrub from boots whch leaves like a matt finish. Otherwise nose and forehead can get a little shiny.

Eating greasy foods promotes sebum production.

Do you use wax or gel on your hair?
It can contribute to your skin feeling oily especially your forehead,
Try wiping your face clear after putting on the hair product

Eating sugary food will add to the problem too.

    I find this stuff helps,

    Oil Control Solution 100ml

LACP5.jpgYou can buy it on line at; http://www.mankind.co.uk/Oil-Control-Solution-100ml-PRODLACP5/
Its a little pricy but it lasts a long time and really works.

I find the Nivea for Men face wash very good on the skin.

There are a few oil-control moisturisers available.

The main cause though is likely to be hair products.

Just wash your hair more often and try to use something like paste or gel rather than waxy styling products, or if you do use wax, use a tiny amount.
