    Did they ever finish the storyline about the link between the contaminated building site and the local people who got cancer? I remember Belle getting involved with this when she was working on the local paper. Then she got cancer herself and I dont remeember them finishing the storyline :eek:

    What do ye all think of Harvey Ryan?

    He seemed to start as a villain, in the whole Romeo boat scandal, but since marrying Roo he has settled down and is now a very likeable character IMO

    He is laid back and kind of hapless really, but very funny at times now I think, e.g. when they broke into the school and he was wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses, very amusing. I think he plays well off Alf and John.

    He is actually my favorite male character at the moment

    Any thoughts?

    When he first started appearing in show I couldn't stand him especially when he was trying to ruin Romeo's business. And when he got with Roo I couldn't see what she saw in him.

    But over time he seems to have become nicer and is quite funny now. When he was trying to help out in the gym recently he was hilarious.

    Also when he was giving advice to Spencer on sex + relationships etc, he thought he was doing great, I remember he walked away from one conversation with his fists raised in the air, little did he know he was completely confusing Spencer!

    I think the actor is doing a great job in portraying Harvey as a laid back, well-meaning (but things don't turn too well) and at times ridiculous character. The river boys are great but it is nice to see characters at the other end of the spectrum!
