Really excited about this game... Just saw a half hour preview of Mirrors Edge on Bravo's Playr. It'll be repeated at 12 on Bravo+1 ... worth a look! Lots of in-game footage I haven't seen before. The Time Trial mode really appeals to the Marble Blast addict in me too.

November 14th can't come soon enough.

Youtube trailer is impressive but then again the trailers of Assassin's Creed looked great too. It will really depend on the gameplay.

There's gonna be a demo, I believe. Hopefully it won't be style over substance, like Assassin's Creed!

What I'm worried about is that its such a fast paced game, will it last more than a few hours? Are the time trials tacked on to add longevity? It could turn out to be a solid weekly rental rather than a "must-buy". The reviews will tell alot...

What I'm worried about is throwing up playing it! I know theres a dot on the screen to help you keep your bearings but some of the manouvers looked pretty wild to me.......ha I even felt nausious when running in G.O.W

I got to see the very same programme today. It does look good but I am worried that it could turn out like assassins creed. I think he said there was 23 time trials so no doubt there will probably be some DLC for it in the not so distant future. It will definitely be something I try out.

Looks like we can try it out for ourselves on Friday (or tomorrow if you have a PS3). The demo will include the prologue, the tutorial section, and part of the main campaign. Those who preorder will get a code that unlocks a time trial mode.

I played it last night as it was on PSN yesterday. It looks really good, the use of colours etc. Controls are very simple. It's definite rent game though.

Played it myself, looks to be a good game so far, something a bit different than your normal FPS.
I'll be going out and getting this one, just hope it lasts more than 8 hours (if not good job there's a time trial mode).

Love the demo, maybe getting it, is there an online mode? Im guessing if there is it will be something like Splinter Cell D.A's online MP.

Demo was very good, but exceedingly short, even for a demo. Seeing as you move through the environment at such a rapid pace, there is going to have to be a hell of a lot of it to make the game last longer than a few hours...

No online afaik. There is a timetrial mode where you can try and beat the rest of the world
