Year out cancel my grant???

Hi all! I am in my final year and would like to do a HDip in Education, however as Im wanting to be a french teacher I would like to spend a year in france first, if I take this "year out" will I get the grant when I return?? Please help as I dont know what to do!!:(

You'll have to be means tested again when you come back, like you were in first year. That's all.

I deferred a year and got a grant when I came back. If you earn enough money to put yourself over the threshold you might lose it (you shouldn't really need it then anyway) but I don't think you should otherwise.
