Manual vs Computerised ? ? ? ?

When cheaking off a set of accounts manually and you are given a print out of computerised (SAGE) accounts, what do you check the bank against? Is it the computerised cheques journal or Nominal Ledger ? ? ? :confused:

i would use the nominal ledger as the cheques journal mightnt have direct debits etc or lodgments

If you are manually reconciling Bank get a printout of the nominal Activity report (Sage) for all bank accounts
