Hey guys I'm doing a course at the moment and I have to do a 3 month work placement at the end of it. The tutor told us to look for roles like field service engineer, desktop support or system administrator. Do any of you know some good places to try in the South East around Kilkenny or Waterford?

I dont think you'll get work experience as a field engineer or sys admin- they're pretty specialised roles.

You might have a bit of luck with the desktop support though-any decent sized company is bound to have an IT dept, let them know you'll do it for free and they'll take you up fairly quick.
