Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where is he playing exactly? Is he playing as an attacking central midfielder ala Xavi, shielding the ball deep and linking the defense to attack? Because at Barca he was used as more of a defensive midfielder who had played lovely passes, so we didn't get the best out of him.

When I've seen him hes been playing quite deep in the midfield usually pickin it up from the defence and movin it on from there.

Looking forward to this, all the ABCs are out in force I see.

Hopefully we will put in a decent shift although on paper, MU should be skelping Celtic.

    Man Utd

    Van der Sar
    Neville
    Evans
    Vidic
    O'Shea
    Nani
    Fletcher ---- Anderson -- Ronaldo
    Berbatov --- Rooney

    Celtic

    McDonald

    McGeady
    ---- Robson ---- Nakamura --- Brown

    Caldwell
    Naylor --- McManus --- Loovens --- Wilson
    Boruc

Caldwell playing as a sweeper for the midfield by the looks of it. It worked for Scotland in Paris. :)

    No Tevez...what the?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 5,175 Mod ✭✭✭✭Mr Moon

No room for Tevez in the starting lineup, I thought he would be a definite starter!!

It's a shame really as he was in such good form before Berbatov came in!

Is there anyway to play all 4 of them? (Rooney, Ronnie, Berbie & Tevez)

Of course Utd should win, but I fancy a Celtic win :)

    Gwan McGeady

No Tevez is a bit of surprise ,
but Neville getting the nod over Brown or Rafael is a shock for me.
I know he has all the experience in the world, but on current form he is third choice IMO.

Injured according to RTE. :( Hopefully nothing too serious.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

Maybe Ferguson doesn't rate Celtic, and is resting players.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be as 1 sided as I think it will. Just hoping for a good match. Roll on tomorrow night.

Why the feck are Celtic playing in yellow? It's like United vs Norwich.

    Ugh.

The Battle of the Two Evils (or the Great Irish Love-In).

Don't think I want either side to win.

I do hope McGeady plays well though.

That was some cross by Ando to Ronnie, great control then by Ronnie.

Ronnie looks up for it, more tricks in 5 mins than since he returned.

    Good start by United.

    Off-side - harsh on Celtic.

Though - advantage is supposed to go with the striker.

    Blatent offside.

Yeah, it was off side ok, yet another official making a wrong decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Eirebear

He was offside there as well.

Another one for the "We wur pyoor robbed" annuls. :D:D:D:D

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 35,945 Mod ✭✭✭✭dr.bollocko

Shame it's an offside decision. Celtic were starting to come alive. Utd fan, but hate to see poor decisions gift us goals.
Even when watching it first I was certain he was off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,447 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

blatent? about 6 inches over moving play? bit harsh there - offside no doubt thanks to super slow mo replay, but at the spped it happened and the space involved, it is hardly baltent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,677 ✭✭✭Chong

    ANDERSON score already jeez :(

Offside goal which has now caused Celtic to panic a bit
