After two very successful events the third & final round of the inaugural Garmin/Sqeez backed Irish Touring Car Series heads to the south of the country where our first champion will be decided this Sunday (26th Oct) in Fermoy, Co. Cork. The title is still up for grabs with Round 1 winner Alan Bickerstaff and Stephen Hill, the winner of the St.Annes encounter, set to go head to head for top honours. Adding a new dimension to the event, the Fermoy Model Car Club meeting will be run on a carpet track which will be open for official practice on Saturday to give everyone the opportunity to fine tune their set-up on the new surface. To date 32 drivers have registered points in the ITCS and with a number of drivers set to debut in the RCCAOI sanctioned championship this weekend that number is set to grow bringing a close to what has been a get season for Electric Touring Car racing in Ireland.
