Anyone try the map maker yet?

Gonna give that a go some nite, and make a big level, mainly for Sniper death matches, just wondering has anyone tried it..

Looks amazing actually, I'll be picking up a copy as soon as I get the chance, between this, Fable 2 and fallout 3 i'm going to have to bid farewell to the sun for quite some time

just got this the other day, really doesnt do anything for me , seems exactly like far cry 1, nothing out of this world. Got it in hmv, cant return it now

I think it's a savage game. Nothing beats ambushing the convoy for the gun shop missions with a ied and sniping the survivors from a nearby ridge. The only pain in the arse is driving through a guard post you've already cleared out to find the f***ers are back.

Couldn't agree more!

Pity there are only 6 or 7 of the convoys to hit!

I was waiting so much for this game. Finally got around to buying it today. Went in to Zavvi here in Kilkenny, handed over my hard-earned cash and received the game I had eagerly awaited.

10 Mins ago...

Stuck the game in my 360. Nothing happened. I checked the disc for any possible scratches etc and to my amazement I found out that the staff managed to give me a PS3 copy of FC2 in a 360 case.
I dont have a PS3. Now I have to wait until tomorrow night.

Say I'll wait until this ends up in the bargain bin, along with all its other Ubisoft brethren.

Got Fallout 3 and Fable 3 on the way, then maybe Dead Space.

Far Cry 2 can wait.

I just bought the camo suit. Do I have to do anything to active it? or is it assumed to be always "on". Does it only work in shadow?

I have both of them. Played more FC2 than GOW2 as I only got GOW2 lastnight but I'm more impressed with that.

Little let down by FC2's shooting. Supposed to be realistic but it can take over half a clip to kill some point blank hitting them with every bullet from an AK47???

Just bought Far Cry 2 today from Gamestop for 29 98 euro!

Pretty good bargain IMO.

Geat craic.So far enjoying it:)

Fall out 3 could be bought in the next couple of days,since Far cry was so cheap!Best of both worlds:D

I'm about 20% into farcry2 now, really enjoying it, starting to make full use of the IED's with great results! Just a question about some of the diamond locations. I came across one for example on top of a massive boulder, my GPS was picking it up alright and moved way back I could see the case through my sniper rifle but no way of climbing up to it!! Tried for about ten minutes!!

Anyone else come across anything like this????

I've been thinking about those and I came to the conclusion that there's definite need of the hang gliders to get some of them

Does anyone else feel like the Camo suit is a waste of time?

Still, it's an enjoyable game, glad I'm playing it on the 360 cause whilst I normally only play FPS' on the PC, this one's definitely been made for a console.

Camo suit is muck.

Defo has to be hang gliders.Spent a about 15 mins trying to get one on top of a train.Fairly sickend at the end of the 15 mins.:mad:

Just gave the multi-player a quick go - not great tbh, but not awful. Might have to try again. But crashed the console as it was exiting and loading the menu.
