Hi, I know very little about cars, Key in, Turn, Engine Starts, Drive off sort of person.
Dropped the car in to get a slow punture repaired and mentioned that the steering was a bit shaky possible need the wheels balanced.

Was told when I picked it up that the steering rack was "falling off" on both sides and would need fixed as it was dangerous!

Can anyone advised as to what price this would be to fix, was quoted €170 but they could not do it until next week.
The steering is very loose and need full lock to drive around the house.
