BMW E36 M3 ENGINE


Hi,
I am looking for a BMW E36 Engine, Box, and ECU - preferably the EVO Version.
Would consider buying a crashed M3 as I need parts for an E30 M3 transplant.
Any help or referrals greatly appreciated

Not cheap. Remember that the 3.2 had more Vanos problems than the 3L. Also any M50-52 engine will fit and the prize one is the M52B28 out of the Z3 as it has an aluminium block and is lighter than the 2.3 out of an original e30 M3.

Just watch for Nikasil issues on the straight 6 non M3's. Id also recommed the single vanos 3.0l over the 3.2l from reading the magazines.

hi ive seen your looking for an m3 engine from an e36, just in case your interested ive got a 328 sport of which the gear box has gone, and as the car is not the smartest im selling it for spares or repair. the engine has done 120k and although the damage to box it still starts and drives, its sat on my drive for 4 months an started first time yesterday. It comes with all the usuals like air con, leather interior, m3 kit e.t.c. If your interested im only after £500 for it. Just an idea but you could pull the engine out and sell the rest for parts, maybe get most of the 500 back, i would do it but ive not got time.
