Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reduction in Jobseekers Benefit periods.

There is a reduction in the periods for which you can get Jobseekers Benefit in the new budget. The Period for JB is now 12 months with 260 contributions.
The old period used to be 13 months (I think).
There has been no mention of this in the news and I only found out from reading a local parish newsletter.
I appears that existing claimants will be left at the old periods and the new rule only applies to new claimants.
I am currently doing a FAS course and I wonder will my resumption on JB be seen as a new claim or continuance of an old claim?
