Yeah rang and confirmed they are opening. Spoke about collectors editions and the chap mentioned they had some but you needed to go in in person to put 5 euro off them to guarantee they will have one for you. Someone is on it for me...

In other news this torrent is complete and apparently I can install it and repatch to 3.03 and play away. Will see how it goes

They must have updated the midnight opening places on the site, I only checked it last week. Not too bothered anywya, would have to travel back to carlow, and I payed some off a copy in Gamestop in carlow...

You can install it,all the patches are on the disc afaik. Anyone know about the price of the SE?

The WOTLK DVD contains ALL files to get you started from version 3.0

First thing you will need to do is patch to 3.0.3 to match live servers,

Then I guess there will be a 3.0.4 tomorrow night or possibly a 3.1

For the WOTLK openings.

3.1 won't be for a few more months. It's the first content patch after launch. Not sure if they'll even have 3.0.4 tommorrow though I could be wrong about that one.

I deleted all my old patches, including 3.0>3.0.1 and 3.0.1>3.0.2 about 5 minutes before reading that the boxed copy of Wrath is 3.0 only.

I was gonna start redownloading them tonight but maybe this isnt neccesary?

(i still have 3.0.2 > 3.0.3 from last week ready to go)

Like I said above,

The Retail DVD shipped with 3.0

You will need to download 3.0.1 again if you deleted it,

Same with 3.0.3

Have you logged into the game?

If you try to login it will need to patch to 3.0.3

Have it installed aswell, you can still play the game no probs havn't activated it yet because i don't have the key yet but as far as i know you can only upgrade it after 12midnight might be wrong though, would be a good idea if you were allowed to upgrade now to stop the rush on the wow site

You do need to patch from 3.0 to 3.0.3,

As I just installed and had to do this, it will be instant almost if you still have this data from previous download, otherwise you need to d/l it all over again,

hmm, well maybe i did have a patch then if you say so, i just was on mirc for a bit, but if there was a patch, it took like 5 seconds..the space of time i left between finish install and clicking play.

I havnt updated my key yet, because i obviously dont want it been known that i got a quick copy, although perhaps since the game doenst go live for everyone till 2moro, its no harm.

How pants to find this thread at 6:30 in the morning as i'm waiting to drive to blackpool sc to pick up my CE wotlk. Gamestop folks in douglas told me there were NO midnight openings in cork. Bunch of liars. Ah well, as much fun as it would've been to queue in the cold and stuff I was quite happy with sulking in Ogrimmar on my alli priest while all the horde we away playing in Northrend. Specially since I caught that Old crafty
