    im headin over for a few days there next week, anyone know a couple of good places, listen mainly to the likes of ben sims, old liebing, nastic, carola, joey beltram, velvet, slam, technasia ect.

    Was only over in Amsterdam a few months ago and I was recommended a place called Trance Budha but it had closed down so we checked out Escape, wouldn't be an underground vibe but good set up all the same and well worth a visit. www.escape.nl
    PS: You get searched on way in, not too intensive but every time you go out for a smoke you get the same search on the way back in again. Hint=socks:D:pac:;)

    Mate they aint searching you for drugs there, they are searching for blades, hence the metal detector you walk through

    Wonder why then when they search you as well as the metal detectors?
    The must be looking for plastic knives! And just happen to stumble on my brothers sneacta and he got trown out because of it, along with lots more people too one of the night we were there. Besides dont remember you asking for advice on Amsterdam clubs.

    Dance event was good last year...didn't get the chance to head over for it this year. Place called Cineac isn't a bad club with the right DJ...saw Angello and Ingrosso play there and it was a blast, like the old days here, crowd going mad and no stupid cokehead vibe
    Melkweg is decent too if there's someone decent playing it..not so much a club, but there's a part of it that does some dance stuff...went to the Audio Bullies and nathan Fake in it last year.

    Go to Studio 80, it is on Rembrandplein on the right handside of Escape when facing it, just beside a pub. just look for the queue.
    it s a proper underground club, was there a couple of weeks ago for the Perspectiv Label night from Switzerland (Ripperton).

    Mate i was just putting you in the know thats all, of course they are going to turf you out if you have any **** on you, all establishments need a licence for that stuff but as you go in the main priority is blades, many years ago(not sure about now) many gangs used to frequent the place, i was in there about 15 years ago and there was a shooting outside it, its no where near as bad now though, Amsterdam has turned into an almighty tourist attraction now, hence you see walking tours of the district, it was a lot more shadey 10-15 years ago, when many of the girls had pimps etc you woulkdnt see a tour in site and far fewer people too

    On another note, escape has gone a bit more upmarket, it resembled more of a big hall years ago, think it was an old cinema or something!
