Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Free Entry into Dublin Zoo for Children

Parents can bring their children to Dublin Zoo for free over the mid-term break thanks to a special offer from Bus Éireann.

All parents have to do to enjoy a fun day out at Dublin Zoo is to bring a Bus Éireann Family Ticket to the Zoo ticket desk and children will have free access to see the chimps, the elephants, giraffes, lions and gorillas. Parents/guardians will be charged at normal adult rates.

“Finding activities to keep children occupied over the mid-term can often be difficult, but with this offer from Bus Éireann kids will enjoy hours of entertainment at one of Ireland’s best attractions for free,” said Andrew McLindon, PR and Media Manager, Bus Éireann.

Bus Éireann Family Ticket holders will also be able to take part in Dublin Zoo’s “Spooktacular” event on Saturday, October 25, 2008, where children will be treated to a host of Halloween fun including pumpkin carving, mask-masking, face-painting and spooky storytelling. Keepers at Dublin Zoo will be giving special Halloween themed “bat chats” where children will get a chance to learn about all the animals and insects associated with the “spooky” holiday season. The Halloween “Spooktacular” at Dublin Zoo takes place on Saturday 25th October between 11am and 3pm. Normal admission rates for adults will apply.

The Bus Éireann offer is valid from October 24 2008 until November 2 2008.
