Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Match Thread: West Brom v Hull City

Anybody been watching this? The day thats in it, I decided to sit in on this and I have to say this is a 'proper' football match!

Both sides are capable of playing a very good passing game, and have a positive attitude. Great to see a team such as Hull (small club, just promoted, etc etc) playing with 2 strikers away from home and have Giovanni in the hole to boot!

There have also been a few tasty little challenges, and very little was made of each of them which is great to see. One in particular had a Hull player raise a stupidly high leg, he split open Miller, the West Brom striker, is quickly yellow carded and there are no complaints, and Miller quickly gets up, jogs down the tunnel to get stitched and bandage, and is back on in 5 minutes.

I don't know about you but I think its refreshing to see a game like this being played! A lot of credit has to go to both managers.

Whats with booing Paul McShane? Did he leave WBA on bad terms?

I know, I was thinking the same. The fact that it is the only Premiership game on for the rest of the day, it may have more than it normally would. Far more entertaining fare than what a lot of the 'better' sides through up most of the time though, even if it is 0-0 at half time (plenty of chances).

Fair play to Hull, delighted for them.

I think its safe to assume that paul mcshane is the sole reason for Hulls terrific season...how many goals have they conceded since he joined?

LOL - Paul McShane is on top of the premiership.
