I remember a great program at least 8 years ago (literally) that would let people come log in and there would be different songs, or threads.
In each of these there were a load of track, or channels.

What you could do would lets say plug your keyboard (music) into your computer and record a track of something. make it up yourself.
then someone else would come and sequence in some guitar, someone else with drums
and you could play it all together.

I was involved with it early then just totally forgot about it

Anyone remember this ? is it still around or anything like it ?

Yeah, I remember finding out about this awesome idea. I think there was a video explaining it or something visual along with it, it was damn cool. I think I stumbled upon it while looking for the Muse website, see when they were next playing. I'll check.
