Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still, nothing compares to the Apple TV with well encoded files and an HDMI cable

I have an iMac and use Connect 360 to stream to my Xbox. What does the Apple TV do better than the Xbox?

It doesn't do anything better than the 360 does, when it is used in the type of system you have set up. As a stand alone device I wouldn't bother with it for my media player.

Hdmi 1080p looks perfect - probably the best colour coming through of any dvd player i've tried.

Me too. Colours are great on my 50" Samsung plasma. It is noisy though, but hopefully that will be sorted with the new Jasper.
