Son being a male offspring, so whats the actually relationship of JC to god, did god fertilize Mary's egg ? if you tested his DNA would you see gods DNA, thats unlikely though seeing as he isn't human, so whats the craic,is there any rational explanation to it or is it just a made up BS story that sounded good at the time.

There is a theory that the idea of the son of God or the incarnation is a methaphor for the idea that 'spirits' in the form 'ideas' or 'concepts' have no potency in themselves but need some sord of 'embodiement' before they become potent. Its like an entrephenaur needs to embody his 'idea' or 'conception' into reality before his 'concept' bears fruit.
God the father, as spirit, has no embodyment.
The bible is full of interesting metaphors (imo).

Ah the whole "son" thing is just silly. It is an ancient people applying a concept they were familar with to gods. Like the Greeks.

Our gods are modeled on humans. We have children so they have children. I dont think the people coming up with this thought to hard about what that actually means. But in fairness to them they didn't understand human reproduction that well either.
