Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TV in front of radiator

I currently have a 32" Philips TV ( non plasma/lcd). After much experimenting and shuffling of furniture, the perfect place to set up the TV/TV stand in the living area would be in front of a heating radiator.

I have saftey concerns about placing a TV in front of a radiator and would like your opinion - is it safe?

Next year will be buying plasma, again would it be safe in front of radiator?

I have my t.v. in front of the radiator. Its never given me trouble but it cant be good for the t.v. having it there.

I'd say it may shorten the lifespan of your TV.

I'd definitely say it's not a good place for a plasma, plasmas tend to run quite warm enough as is (my Panasonic even has 4 fans to expel heat), and adding in more heat wouldn't be a good idea.
